Terms & Conditions
By accessing or purchasing from this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Skin Plugin LLC sells cosmetic products for personal care and beauty use only. Product information on this site is provided for general informational and shopping purposes only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment advice. Cosmetic products are intended to beautify, cleanse, or alter appearance; if a product is marketed with drug-style claims, different rules apply.
SkinPlugin makes no guarantee that any product will produce the same result for every user. Skin condition, sensitivity, allergies, routines, age, environment, and individual response vary widely. Any descriptions regarding hydration, smoothing, brightening, conditioning, or the appearance of firmness or wrinkles refer only to cosmetic appearance-related benefits. Customer experiences, testimonials, before-and-after content, or reviews do not guarantee that other users will achieve the same outcome, and “results not typical” wording alone does not cure a deceptive impression if advertising suggests generally expected results.
Customers are responsible for reading product labels, ingredient information, instructions, and warnings before use. Do not use any product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. FDA advises consumers to read the label, follow directions and warnings, and stop use if problems occur. Because cosmetic products can provoke allergic reactions in some people, customers should consider patch testing or consulting an appropriate professional before full use, especially if they have sensitive or reactive skin.
Except where prohibited by law, all products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. SkinPlugin disclaims all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. SkinPlugin does not warrant uninterrupted website availability, error-free content, or that product descriptions, images, availability, or pricing will always be complete, current, or error-free, although we strive for accuracy. FTC guidance also requires that material disclosures be clear and conspicuous and that important offer terms not be hidden only in fine print.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkinPlugin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, allergic reaction, irritation, dissatisfaction with cosmetic outcome, or failure of a product to meet subjective expectations. SkinPlugin’s total liability arising out of or relating to any product or order shall not exceed the amount actually paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim. Some states may not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so portions of this limitation may not apply to every customer. FDA still places the underlying safety responsibility on companies that market cosmetics.
Customers are solely responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for their own needs, skin type, condition, routine, and intended use. SkinPlugin is not responsible for misuse, overuse, combination with other products, failure to follow directions, use on broken or irritated skin, or storage contrary to label instructions. Cosmetics that may be hazardous when misused must bear appropriate warnings and adequate directions for safe use, and customers are expected to heed them.
If you experience irritation, rash, burning, swelling, or any other adverse reaction, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate medical advice where needed. SkinPlugin may request product information, photos, lot details, and usage information to review complaints. FDA states that serious adverse events associated with cosmetic products in the United States are subject to mandatory reporting by the responsible person, and labels must include domestic contact information.
Product statements on this website have not been stated to be FDA-approved unless expressly identified otherwise. FDA says cosmetics generally do not require premarket approval, but there are limits on cosmetic claims and on presenting cosmetic products as drugs.
SkinPlugin reserves the right to update product information, discontinue products, limit quantities, refuse service, cancel orders, correct errors, and modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Any unlawful or unenforceable provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remainder will stay in effect. General ecommerce terms cannot be used to override deceptive advertising or conceal material terms from consumers.
